The mining industry of Guinea was developed during colonial rule, resulting in the improvement of the economic situation in the country. The minerals extracted consists of iron, gold, diamond, and bauxite. A large number of gold mines are located in northeastern Guinea; there’s still a huge untapped potential in this area.
The Mandiana & Mandiana East assets with a total area of 175 km² is located in the Kankan Region, in the northeastern part of the Republic of Guinea. The assets spread out from the east / southeast of Siguiri which encompasses over 90,000 km² and is a highly gold-prospective, volcano-sedimentary basin in Guinea.
Soil geochemistry surveys and geophysics works are completed. Phase 1 Drilling Programme has started beginning of July 2017 drilling at least five thousand (5000) meters holes, producing geological samples.
The Kourouba & Kourouba East assets with a total area of 204 km² is located in the Prefecture of Kouroussa, Kankan Region, about 600 km from Conakry, in the East part of the Republic of Guinea. The assets spread out to the south-west of the town of Kankan. Soil geochemistry surveys and geophysics works are completed in the assets. The drilling programme will start in December 2017.
